About me
While following my dreams and studying musical theatre, I had a gradual realization that something needed to change. I switched my major to Journalism to start my junior year of college— Fall 2021. I've studied theatre since I could be thrown on stage and babble my lines, but adulthood showed me I could no longer be fulfilled by that profession. Soon after the switch, I joined the student-led entertainment publication, Byte. There, I wrote, podcasted, edited and led a recruitment initiative.
Since January 2022 to January 2023, I've had the pleasure of working alongside Public Media professionals at Ball State PBS as their marketing assistant and had the fabulous opportunity to be the Ball State Public Media PMX inaugural student. Now, I'm working down in Indy at NCW as their marketing intern. I'll be there through summer 2023 (and probs for the rest of my professional life, I love them). What I'm most passionate about is the human experience. Although I'm unsure what my future holds, I'm confident it will include traveling and telling the stories of those I meet along the way. I deeply believe in connecting with humans through knowledge and empathy. I ache to learn and create; to not only live but find the multitude of reasons why life's worth living. Enneagram 4: According to The Enneagram Institute: "Profoundly creative, expressing the personal and the universal, possibly in a work of art. Inspired, self-renewing and regenerating: able to transform all their experiences into something valuable: self-creative" |
It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive.
